Data Disposal Compliance Consultant - NYDFS

Location: New York (3 Days hybrid)

• The consultants will be responsible for ensuring compliance to NYDFS 23 CRR Part 500.139B) requirements through annual attestation effort and associated enhancements projects.
• The Data Privacy Expert oversees the implementation of NYDFS-aligned data disposal requirements across all PII/NPI applications. They ensure adherence to established disposal processes, controls, and evidence standards, and work with Business and IT to validate proper execution. The role reviews retention compliance, monitors exceptions, and leads risk acceptance assessments where data disposal is not technically feasible. They ensure continuous compliance with NYDFS, legal, and internal privacy obligations
