Job Summary:
Role Overview
We are seeking a backend Sr. Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java back-end dev with Java AWS Postgres dynamo db spring boot and Kafka. The model is hybrid with no travel required and day shifts.
Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using java back-end dev with Java, Aws, Postgres, Dynamo DB, Spring Boot and Kafka.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and efficient software architecture.
• Proven track record of designing, building and maintaining complex RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Ensure the quality of performance and responsiveness of applications by conducting thorough testing and debugging.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle and improve deployment efficiency.
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements by translating them into technical specifications.
• Monitor and optimize application performance identifying and resolving bottlenecks and performance issues.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies incorporating them into the development process as appropriate.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for software designs code and processes.
• Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to manage and maintain cloud infrastructure ensuring high availability and scalability.
• In-depth knowledge of distributes systems, cloud-native applications, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with development tools such as Git, Jira and Jenkins.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes tools and methodologies.
• Domain: Payments, Issuance, Card Processing. Intuit fintech and dev environment knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Possess strong technical skills in AWS EC2 Spring Boot Microservices Dynamo DB J2EE and AWS IoT.
• Demonstrate extensive experience in Product Lifecycle Management and its application in software development.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Show proficiency in designing and implementing scalable and efficient software architectures.
• Have a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their role in the software development lifecycle.
• Display strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
• Maintain a proactive approach to learning and staying current with industry trends and technologies.
