  • Salary: $146,000.00 - $248,200.00 per year

Responsibilities

  • Lead regional acute care revenue cycle functions and drive operational performance in partnership with R1 RCM, Inc .
  • Manage revenue cycle performance goals and metrics for the region, and provide performance updates and action plan status to ministry and regional CFOs and Finance VPs.
  • Manage Service Level Agreements and vendor business partner relationships; develop and foster relationships with managed care companies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Assess impact of revenue cycle operations and develop innovative approaches to new market competition and other issues as they arise.
  • Evaluate revenue cycle operations for quality, efficiency, cost effectiveness, and regulatory compliance; ensure that duplications and redundancies are eliminated.
  • Provide oversight, education, and training for front end revenue cycle functions outside the R1 service area, ensuring consistent registration, authorization, and financial counseling practices across locations.
  • Complete current state assessments and gap analyses, develop remediation plans, support denial mitigation for non R1 registration workflows, and partner with R1 on training and quality initiatives.
Requirements

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
Additional Preferences

  • Bachelor's degree / Master's degree is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
  • Experience in patient access or front end revenue cycle operations.
  • Quality assurance and audit experience is a plus.
  • Experience supporting larger or multi site environments is preferred.
