Title: Lab Assistant

Location: Arkansas City, AR

Duration: 6 months+

Pay Rate: $33.00 $39.51/hour (Depending on experience)

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and prospective customers, including plant or facility executives
  • Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer challenges, escalating as required
  • Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in engineering or life sciences
  • Will consider entry level science and/or engineering candidates
  • Minimum of 1 3 years' experience in a chemistry lab
  • Strong good customer service and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Paper or water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience
  • Working knowledge of pulp mill operations, paper machine operations, wet end chemistry, etc.

Additional Information

  • Onsite Monday Friday
  • Contract is eligible to extend; possibility to be hired directly, but no guarantees
