Responsibilities include preparing and cooking meals according to planned menus and recipes, ensuring food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines, assisting with inventory management and ordering of supplies, interacting positively with residents, staff, and guests, and performing all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, previous experience as a cook or in food preparation, ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions, maintaining a positive attitude, effectively communicating with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership, compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies, ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended periods, ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously, working around food and cleaning products, completing an approved sanitation and safety course, and current ServSafe or Food Handler certification based on State/County law. Residency within the service area is required.
