The Quality Technician provides support to manufacturing operations or Quality Engineering by tests and/or inspection of products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates collected data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties:
Reports direct to the Quality Manager.

Education and/or Experience:
ISO/IATF experience. Requires a vast knowledge of Quality Concepts, Computer (i.e. Excel/Word/Minitab) Blue prints, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Statistical Techniques, Metrology and Calibration, Inspection and Test, Quality Audits and Preventive/Corrective Action. Equal to 2 years college or 3 experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to apply mathematical concepts to the degree necessary.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to determine product status based on test & inspection results.
Other Qualifications:
Must have or be willing to learn: Blueprint reading as applicable to manufacturing of metals, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Statistical Process Control (SPC), Measurement Techniques (Metrology), Computer Application basics (Windows, Spreadsheets, etc.), Coordinate Measuring Machine applications (CMM-Romer), Ability to work with people (Team Player).

Perform gage calibrations, millipore testing, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), computer communications and assisting Quality Manager, as directed with IMDS. Tools and Equipment computer, micrometers, linear gages, optical comparator, calipers, microscopes, surface plates, force gages, etc.
