Job Details

Prepares and analyzes reports for a variety of safety programs and ensures compliance with legal reporting requirements. Research information and conducts/participates in survey and data requests; analyzes results and recommends changes. Applies technical knowledge, skills and judgment to solve problems. Research regulatory changes (federal and state) and trends to maintain consistency and compliance with laws, company safety policies and procedures. Strives for continuous process improvement and makes recommendations to align people, systems, and strategies. Has supervisory authority to stop work because of unsafe work practices or conditions. Assists in the investigation and analysis of safety incidents and injuries and develops procedures to prevent recurrence of similar incidents or injuries. Provides Safety and Health services and safety training for assigned internal customer groups.
