Job Description: Information Systems Security Manager

We are seeking an Information Systems Security Manager with a TS/SCI w/ Poly to support a future contract with our Engineering Services and Solutions Division out of Annapolis Junction, MD.

In this role, you will:

• Provide management support for a program's Information Assurance requirements.
• Propose, coordinate, implement, and enforce Information System Security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Manage the operational security posture for an Information System or program to ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Oversee day-to-day security operations and evaluate security solutions to meet classified information processing requirements.
• Perform vulnerability/risk assessments to support security authorization.
• Support configuration management for security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Manage changes to systems and assess security impacts.
• Prepare documentation such as System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, Certification and Accreditation (C&A) packages, and System Requirements Traceability Matrices (SRTMs).
• Support security authorization activities in compliance with NSA/CSS Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DoD DIACAP processes.

Requirements include:

• Ten (10) years of experience in security authorization.
• Knowledge of security tools, hardware/software security implementation, communication protocols, encryption techniques, and familiarity with commercial security products.
• Experience with security incident management, PKI, and authorization services.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or IT Engineering; or an additional four (4) years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAM II is required.

Pay Range: The salary for this position is proposed between $200,000 and $220,000, influenced by factors such as location, experience, skills, and certifications.
