This role reports to Amplitude's Chief Product Officer.

As a Senior Director of Product Management - Core, you will:

  • Build experiences & products for people utilizing our Core Data and Analytics.
  • Define and drive the strategic direction and product roadmaps and spearhead product-led strategy.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Core product managers to drive excellence and execution focused on Analytics and Data.
  • Partner with fellow product leaders across the product organization and evangelize and drive a Core product direction.
  • Maintain and drive the experimentation development process.
  • Identify, optimize, and discover new loops across acquisition and engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with product business counterparts and represent the Core business in leadership settings and presentations.

You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:

  • Prior experience leading a Core and high profile team within an organization.
  • Shipped Core B2B products.
  • Ability to think with frameworks across problems.
  • Capability to dive into detailed numbers and zoom out to strategy in the same thought.
  • A growth mindset - seeing failure as a means to advance learning, leading to success.
  • Experience in leading and scaling an organization.
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and dive deep as needed.
  • Action-oriented and lead with influence.
  • Existing Core expertise to deliver strong product and business outcomes, with dynamically larger scope in scale and team development.
  • A deep understanding of sophisticated strategies and implementation with product adoption.
  • Ability to navigate within a matrixed organization, working through and across multiple teams, functions, and structures.
  • Exceptional executive presence to influence others, from senior executives/C-staff to individual Growth practitioners.

Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in San Francisco Bay Area of California. Salary range: $282,000 - $528,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission) plus equity.

Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude outside of the San Francisco Bay Area. California salary range: $254,000 - $476,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission) plus equity.
