Job Details

Essential Functions
•Physically inspect, analyze and evaluate property for value, condition and exposure purposes.
•Underwrite, renew, rate various lines of business (varies by state).
•Participate in various daily inspections, roof inspections, special projects inspection programs.
•Frequently accompany Agents on insured appointments to assist in evaluating and identifying exposures.
•Assume duties as Roving Field Underwriter to assist with daily and overflow inspection workload.
•Learn duties and responsibilities of Field Underwriter through on-the-job training in office and in the field.
•Depict findings in photography and complete reports of discovery from inspections.
•Become well acquainted with underwriting manual.

Additional Responsibilities
•Attend various meetings, conferences and training seminars when and where requested.
•Regular travel including overnight as required.
•Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
•Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
•Regular and predictable attendance is required.
