Job Description

As a Sorter, you are responsible for sorting pallets by hand for grading as they flow from the loading dock, production line and throughout the facility. This position involves tandem sorting that requires high collaboration with other team members. May leverage hand tools to remove nails or debris from pallets.

Qualifications:
Familiarity with working in an industrial, fast paced environment with industrial equipment.
Strong attention to complete tasks within a timely manner with high attention to detail.
Ability to understand and communicate information is essential.
Comfortable to work independently in a team environment is essential.
Ability to position pallets weighing up to 78lbs at least 63% of work shift
Duties:
Pallet Sorting
Moving pallets from loading docks to sort line/area. While removing debris and trash from pallets.
Showing great attention to detail and determines which pallets require repairs.
Productivity:
Strive to meet daily production targets.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery.
Wear and use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment daily.
Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately.
Working Conditions:
As a Sorter you will work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. That includes Exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
The role requires standing for long periods of time wearing head to toe Personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
